ERASMUS+ MOBILITY: Data protection

1.            OBJECTIVE
Any personal data included in the Erasmus+ Financial Contract will have to be processed by the European Commission in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, under the terms of the obligations established between Facultas, S.A. -instituting body of the Instituto Superior de Ciências Empresariais e do Turismo (ISCET)- and the Erasmus+ National Agency.
 
2.            PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA
The data is processed by the entity responsible for processing the information exclusively for the execution, management and monitoring of the Contract. All information relating to the personal and curricular data of students, teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as that provided in an application to the Erasmus+ Programme, is used exclusively for mobility purposes, including the selection of students and staff, and communication to the host HEIs for the purposes of acceptance and registration of all mobilities on the European Commission platform and on the EWP electronic systems.

3.            DATA PROCESSING AND PROTECTION
Personal data includes information about the candidate for the Erasmus+ programme, namely name, gender, date of birth, nationality, email and telephone contacts, TIN, ID/Passport and NIB/IBAN, course and type of mobility. Access to personal and curricular data is intended solely for mobility purposes (including the ranking of students, teaching and non-teaching staff), contractualization and communication to the host HEI.
The processing of personal data is carried out in strict respect for the rights, freedoms and guarantees of natural persons, in compliance with the general principles of data protection, namely the principles of legality, impartiality, transparency, limitation, purpose, data minimization, accuracy, conservation, integrity, confidentiality and accountability.

4.            RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA HOLDERS
Students, teaching and non-teaching staff have the right to access, rectify or erase their personal data and the right to restrict data portability, as well as the right to object to data processing, under the terms of Regulation (EU) No. 2018/1725.
For this purpose, interested parties will have to send any requests for information on the processing of their personal data and/or to exercise these rights must address a written communication, with the subject "Protection of personal data" to "Facultas, S.A.", Rua de Cedofeita, 285, 4050 -180 Porto. They also have the right to appeal to the European Data Protection Supervisor and to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission at https://www.cnpd.pt/.

5. PRESERVATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Retention of personal data will have the duration of the validity of the project to which students and teaching and non-teaching staff are assigned and, for audit purposes, when requested by the Erasmus National Agency after the project expiration date.
